Credit Card recommendations anyone? I’ve never owned a credit card, well, mostly because I’ve never really had much money to spend and it would probably be a good idea to start building my credit now so I need to sign up for a credit card. I’m just looking for something to give me cash back on gas and maybe other stuff with the usual sign-up bonuses - no annual fee, low apr, etc. I don’t ever plan on spending money that I don’t have so some of that stuff shouldn’t really affect me anyways right? I was thinking maybe a card like Discover’s Platinum Gas Card would be good. I’ve also read stuff about some gas stations being registered as supermarkets rather than gas stations (thus lower cash back rate). Is that applicable to Naperville/Chicago area? Anyhow, any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks.

Every summer there are always people who travel to Asia and when they ask if anyone wants anything, I always say Mentos. Different regions in the world have different flavors. For example, the US only has mint and mixed fruit I believe (maybe another flavor) - quite the boring - while Japan has flavors such as peach, grapefruit, green apple, strawberry and most notably, grape. I usually ask for an entire box of Mentos because I have an enormous sweet tooth and I make sure to emphasize box many times while whoever it is gives me a funny look. Regardless of how many times I mention “box” I only receive a handful of Mentos when they come back. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m very grateful for any gift at all but when I jokingly ask what happened to my box, they look at me like I’m some kind of freak, understandably so because most people don’t have the sweet tooth or stomach that I do but when I say “box“, I do mean box.
This year I decided not to request an entire box as I deemed any attempt to understand my cravings futile, but Jason has so graciously offered to actually attempt to buy me an entire box this year! This was without me even mentioning that I wanted a box. Funny how things work.

Since hacking in maplestory has become quite a hassle, I decided I would finally get around to working on my website. I stopped trying to hack apart the other theme and started to actually use the wordpress features and plugins. I don’t know if my site will ever quite be “finished” but it’s much more complete than before. There are still a good number of things I need to work on or fix but this is it for the most part. Maybe I’ll blog again another time…
I usually try and add pictures with my blogs. It makes things all the more interesting. But my camera has been on loan for a while so I wanted to steal pictures from other people. However, I couldn’t get photoshop to install on my computer (too lazy to search for a fix) so there are no pictures for now.School has been pretty good this semester so far. A bit of gaming, a bunch of going out, and definitely alot more studying than previous semesters.Thanks guys.
I didn’t flop my first exam. A good start. I need to keep it up though.
This past weekend was CFC mini-o’s. We did fair and had fun but bridging the gap owned my back. I don’t think practicing in sandals the night before was a good idea either. CFCers should have pictures up all over. Maybe I’ll get some later.
My brother bought me TextDrive’s lifetime hosting as an early bday/xmas gift so I’ll be moving over there once I figure out how to work everything. I dunno what to do with all that space 0_0
