I’m back in naperville for the weekend to get my wisdom teeth pulled out. I was expecting all four out (the bottom two were growing in sideways btw) but I only got the top and bottom on one side out. The other side is supposed to be a pain to get out cuz the bottom tooth isn’t totally out yet and really close to my jaw bone. The doctor mentioned something about maybe having to chip some bone away to get at my tooth. Hopefully I misheard him. I wanted all four out today but oh well.

I’m missing MWC. *sniffles*

i finally finished all of star trek! yes, i’m a closet trekkie. i heard enterprise was bad so i’m not gonna bother with that. yet

good thing finals are coming up

Looking for “superplays” of your favorite old school games?

What’s a superplay video you ask? Simply put, they either do really really insanely hard crazy stuff (like getting alot of points or never getting hit) or they beat the game really really really really fast. Most of these videos use emulators with save states, played at slow speeds with many glitches but no cheats. No arguments about whether the videos are “real,” these are just people trying to push the limits of the game. I think every video has a torrent for the avi version and also a direct download for emulator replays. Enjoy =)

3S and #R tourney at FAR:

Bruce, Marc and I swept 3S and they got 2nd and 3rd in #R for a total of $75 in BB gift certificates so we split it $25 a person. I like free money.

then off to CFC ISR Thanksgiving dinner!

finally went home for like the 2nd time this semester and studied alot during break:

I look real fat but someone told me I looked like I lost weight. maybe a bad pic?

shopping on wednesday. i took tim to the outlet mall cuz he wanted to apply somewhere and i needed to buy some clothes. we went through backroads that neither of us have gone before. it snowed so hard that all the street signs were covered up and it took like an hour to get there….

thursday: thanksgiving. spent the day at home. cleaned, slept, prepped for black friday

friday morning: woke up at 2:30am to get ready to stand in line at compusa at 4am. i was the 2nd one there =) i got my geforce 6800, unlocked extra shader but pipelines give me artifacts =\ oh well. good enough. maybe.

friday evening. dropped my bro off at ccmc and chilled for a bit. you can see my back!

went home and watched mystic river with joce and judy

saturday: turkey bowl! it was cold and rainy but the game continues. i made a whole bunch a tackles but i think i hurt my rotator cuff too. it’s feelin a bit better now. forgot to take pictures tho

back to school on sunday. class all week. cfc lock-in friday night. too tired for breakfast saturday morning. lunch with clinton, cindy and people. clinton bought the guys a tv for bdays/christmas gift so we have a big tv now!

back to studying

I went to first night of revival last night. The speaker was John Teter who some might remember from Urbana ‘03. This guy is amazing as is his testimony. He’s lead campus pastor of Dominguez Hills and IV metro south bay area director (LINK) and he’s got a couple books under his belt, Jesus and the Hip-Hop Prophets: Spiritual Insights from Lauryn Hill and Tupac Shakur and Get the Word Out: How God Shapes and Sends His Witnesses. Anyways, I really enjoyed the message last night. A good reminder in John 5:17 that God is always working, before we go, after we leave, when we don’t, when we can’t see it and in everyone, in His time and it’s not our place to judge who or where work is being done.

Mike Hwang and Jeni came down and a bunch of us chilled in the LAJ afterwards. Good times. I haven’t had good pizza in a while.

Too many games at the moment but the novelty of my xbox has finally died. But I still am enjoying it
