In my struggle to provide fresh quality content, I brought my camera along to our gathering and went snap-happy with my age-old A60. I think the lens needed cleaning but oh well. I’ve yet to add captions and haven’t posted these anywhere else but I’ll get around to it eventually.

My sleeping schedule is kinda screwed up atm. I had a terrible start to the week and I guess I haven’t really recovered yet. I suppose I have a few things on my mind too.
Anyhow, today/(yesterday) was Kevin’s bday. We planned him a nice adventure:

We got dropped off on the wrong side of the library so we got to walk all the way through.

We passed by numerous people who gave us weird looks and, of course, we explained it was his birthday so they wished them a happy birthday. We were going to leave Kevin in the library basement for a bit and we needed the elevator but we didn’t want to bother the other people in the library so we waited for the elevator to clear. Eventually some stiff library worker came out and vehemently opposed our celebration. We were about to leave but then she demanded we untie him and give her our IDs. She decided it was necessary to call the popos so we waited and a cop came. She explained her story about how we told her it was Kevin’s birthday and we had him tied up. A second cop showed up and the first explained what happened to the second.
“…..they had the kid tied up…. ….he’s all happy and smiling now….”
A third cop showed up for kicks and the staff lady decided to leave us in their hands. The first cop came over, wished Kevin a happy birthday, told us he enjoyed a good gag as much as the next guy and then asked us to leave the library.

I’m back in naperville for the weekend to get my wisdom teeth pulled out. I was expecting all four out (the bottom two were growing in sideways btw) but I only got the top and bottom on one side out. The other side is supposed to be a pain to get out cuz the bottom tooth isn’t totally out yet and really close to my jaw bone. The doctor mentioned something about maybe having to chip some bone away to get at my tooth. Hopefully I misheard him. I wanted all four out today but oh well.
I’m missing MWC. *sniffles*

the 27th was senior night. 20 seniors! (18 present) that was crazy. theres more and more kids every year. i was lax on taking pictures so i didnt really get anything.
the 28th was Jeff and Laura’s wedding. I made good use of my camera. some pictures are fuzzy or dark tho =\
congrats to them. it’s been a long time coming =P
sunday there was chuch and then college/yams had a bbq with a few straggling juniors. again, there were so many people there. partly cuz of jeff’s wedding but it was nice to have such a large group. we didnt have a study for the night but we did worship and pray for a bit and we played some games afterwards… namely uno… until 2 in the morning… props to mike and people for cooking.
and of course monday was our annual memorial day hockey tourney. we had to move to a parking lot cuz the ex-honeywell lot was full of lexuses. pix:

i missed out on frank’s party cuz i was in chicago for my bro’s bday which was last week and my dad’s bday was which saturday. we went to the MSI with free tickets to Game On (cuz my dad works for exelon) which was kinda lame cuz i have most of those games and some of them were running really slow i guess cuz they’ve been on for so long. we also went to see Body Worlds which was pretty cool. they pretty much freeze bodies (which have died from accidents or natural causes) shortly after death to preserve their structures and this allows “laymen” to get a glimpse of pretty much what used to be available only in videos and documentaries. they do things like pump plastic into arteries to preserve their structure (called “plastination”), use chemicals to get rid of the rest of the body and then you can see the entire circulatory system by itself like the picture here but with the entire body. they also freeze bodies and slice them (called “slice plastination”) so you can get uniqe cross-sectional views of how the body is arranged. they also show things like stomach ulcers, a few brain tumors, ateriosclerosis and other diseases. it’s pretty cool especially since i just took physiology this past semester. it shows just how far preservation techniques have come these days. we went to dinner somewhere in chicago and came back and i stopped by frank’s for a half hour or so to catch them playing charades
smash, hooters and cs yesterday. that was pretty fun
alright huge post makes me groggy so it’s time to go running!

All the relatives on my mom’s side live in San Jose or San Francisco so it’s like a nice family reunion for us when we go visit. I have 2 aunts and 2 uncles… so that makes 11 grandkids in total. We used to go visit every year but I’ve been in college the past couple years so I haven’t visited in a while. Anyways, I stayed in my oldest uncle’s place in San Fran for a couple days. I didn’t get around to doing much but I did snap a few pictures.
