First try with iTTL strobes. Pretty fun when things go right. My dumbass couldn’t figure out how to turn the af illuminator on. I really could have used it in the pitch blackness. Guess I need to RTFM. Oh well. At least we got a couple keepers.

A few things I took away.

1. Umbrellas don’t mix with wind.
2. AF assist doesn’t work with AF-C, only AF-S.
3. D700 LCD is a bit brighter than IRL review.
4. I could use a reflector and some more strobes!
